How can I make use of Google AdWords for my tour business website to make sales

Google Adwords enables you to put an advert on Google so that when people search for certain keywords, your website comes up.

The advert shows up depending on the amount of money you set to spend on the advert. Google charges you depending on the number of clicks on that advert. Once the money is depleted, your advert is taken offline.

Google Adwords enables you to target your audience in their respective locations and the advert will only be displayed in those locations. These are usually locations from where you expect to get your clients.

You can set how much money you wish to spend in a day, and how much money you wish to spend per click also known as Cost Per Click and you can also set the overall budget of the advertising campaign. So, you can only be limited by your budget.

To set up a Google Adwords campaign, you need;

  • A Google account (Gmail)
  • Budget (preferably a credit card or debit visa card)
  • Knowledge of your target group (location, language, profile)
  • A website (that works!)
  • Keywords and ads
  • Relevancy of words:
  • Similar to selected keywords and content on the landing page Call-to-Action:
  • Include attention-grabbing words
  • Use encouragements like “book now”
